 It's not the "JS cryptocurrency mining" that's the problem -- e.g. if I
 wanted to try and 'fund my blog' by putting mining code in it, that's up
 to me not Tor Browser). The problem here is 'simply' an exit-node
 modifying unencrypted HTTP traffic and it doesn't matter *what* change
 they're making, they should be removed from the network.

 I can imagine any mitigation against "too much crypto" happening in JS
 would also block things like "Flash Proxy" / Cupcake from working. No
 matter your feelings on that technology, if the website operator wants
 to serve it I'm not convinced Tor Browser should be changing it...
