 I visited http://atlas.torproject.org/ and noticed that "learn more" links
 me to http://atlas.torproject.org/?#about - as a first time user, I would
 have expected that to take me to learn more about the network, not the
 software.

 Perhaps there is a nice page with some interesting summary graphs that
 might be a better landing page?
