This is a bug, but not in your server.  Some client, someplace, is
building circuits incorrectly.  When a Tor client chooses paths, it is
supposed to make sure that the same server never appears next to
itself in the circuit.  Either a very old client, or one we didn't
build, is messing up.

Stefan -- Is it possible that this could be a bug in the JAP tor client?
