[tor-mirrors] Re: New Mirror from Argentina

Good evening,

This has come up a few times (including for my mirror at torproject.diyarciftci.xyz). This mirroring model is no longer wanted by the project so nobody will add this to the old list of addresses that still exist on the tor project website. Please see this previous message from "Roger" which came up on the mailing list before.

Hi all,

It's worse than that -- Tor hasn't used this third-party mirror
infrastructure in some years now.

Background: we used to use volunteer-offered mirrors for users who
were censored or otherwise needed a version of the Tor site they could
reach. But that idea proved complicated because what they really needed is
a copy of the Tor site that they can reach and that we can trust enough.

So the summary is that there isn't any place to add any of these mirrors
to at this point. You will have much more impact contributing a bridge
or a relay. If you like web servers, consider running a webtunnel bridge.

Thanks!

Kind regards,
