Urgâ please never do that. You should not run applications with the same
privileges as Tor.
What you want is to add your current user to the âdebian-torâ group:
sudo adduser $USER debian-tor
Then arm should be able to connect to the system-wide Tor daemon
unless you have changed the default Tor configuration.
