hey list,
this is my first mail to the list!
i've got a problem: tor dont starts. i am a Mac user (10.4.10 with a
macbook, first generaion).
i just downloaded this tor/vidalia bundle: http://tor.eff.org/dist/
vidalia-bundles/vidalia-bundle-0.2.0.4-alpha-0.0.13-tiger.dmg
after the installation, vidalia runs fine, but tor is not able to
build a circuit. there are no tor servers available in the list of
servers.
My Mac runs behind a linksys router, but this is not the prooblem: i
also tryed to run tor directely behind the dsl-modem.
I've not so mutch knowledge in this topic, so i ask you, wether you
have some ideas, why tor dont runs here on my notebook. aah, i forgot
to say, that i want to user tor from germany (thats where im
from.. ..and thats why my english is soo bad ^^)
here is the log from tor, maybe it helps, to find the problem:

Aug 07 03:14:37.787 [Hinweis] Tor v0.2.0.4-alpha (r11023). This is
experimental software. Do not rely on it for strong anonymity.

Aug 07 03:14:37.790 [Warnung] You have used DirServer to specify
directory authorities in your configuration. This is potentially
dangerous: it can make you look different from all other Tor users,
and hurt your anonymity. Even if you've specified the same
authorities as Tor uses by default, the defaults could change in the
future. Be sure you know what you're doing.
Aug 07 03:14:37.793 [Hinweis] Enabling experimental OS X kqueue
support with libevent 1.3c. If this turns out to not work, set the
environment variable EVENT_NOKQUEUE, and tell the Tor developers.
Aug 07 03:14:37.795 [Hinweis] Initialized libevent version 1.3c using
method kqueue. Good.
