Re: SIGHUP without effect

     AFAIK, yes.  However, see Hans's suggestion that using SIGHUP may
somehow result in the problem happening later on.

     At least eighteen hours. :-)  Beyond that, I see no pattern so far.

     No, I do not know how to cause it to happen.

     I've never seen it happen before now (0.2.1.2-alpha).
