It is (probably) the right forum to ask how it is done (namely
connecting to the tor-provided socks5 proxy.
*How* that is done in ruby is to be left as an exercise to the reader
(or the OP), and, having just done that in C, I can only say it's quite
easily done by understanding the protocol description on wikipedia.
