I've tried going to setting then Edit->Preferences->Behavior-> Executable text files but it's already "Ask each time" and it still open the script by the gedit without asking me anything!

The traditional way to run a shell script is to open a terminal, change
to the directory where the shell script is located (with the "cd"
command), and then type the name of the shell script, preceded by "./",
like
cd /somewhere/someplace
./myshellscript
