Google can also potentially use its “suggest” feature (on which
“instant” is based) to deanonymize users:

arguable preference for Google products can be construed as a reason
to *not* use Google as a default search engine in privacy-oriented
products. I doubt that Google uses keystroke dynamics at the moment,
but one should always remember this corporation's official position of
disregarding user privacy:
— People are treating Google like their most trusted friend. Should

— If you have something that you don't want anyone to know, maybe you
shouldn't be doing it in the first place. (Eric Schmidt, Google CEO)
