Exact same as my usual gmail settings (elucidated in reply to Jacob).
pop.gmail.com, port 995. SMTP.gmail.com, port 465. SSL/TLS connection,
normal password authentication. The point of trying the reinstall was to
have a clean slate, so I touched only account setup settings.
