Re: [tor-talk] Slides & Video Recordings: Internet Measurement Village 2020

Hi,

Thanks for your feedback.

The middlebox tests are still included in the OONI Probe apps -- we just
moved them under the Performance card. They are among the default tests
run when you tap "Run" in the OONI Probe mobile app.

We are working on expanding our methodologies, and we will soon ship new
tests. You can read about some of our new experiments in our latest
reports: https://ooni.org/reports/

You can run OONI Probe on Linux via the OONI Probe Command Line
Interface (CLI): https://github.com/ooni/probe-cli

Over the next few months, we will also be working on creating official
Linux packages for OONI Probe.

On mobile, OONI Probe is also available on f-droid:
https://f-droid.org/en/packages/org.openobservatory.ooniprobe/

Given that our goal is to increase global measurement coverage in order
to better detect censorship events around the world, we are working
towards making OONI Probe available for more platforms and easier to use
by human rights defenders.

In short, we're trying to move beyond being a niche tech project for
techies, because human rights defenders are best-positioned to use OONI
data to defend a free and open internet.

Best,

Maria.
