If you went through the tor browser to write some draft on a mail service
then only the IP of an exit will be known to them, not your real IP... since
that is what tor browser is designed to do [1]. This delay thing that the
service does for you after you close and walk away does not matter.
[1] But we cannot know if TBB users actually use TBB and other things
correctly or are not exploited in some way. At minimum use a fresh up
to date OS and https://check.torproject.org/ .
