in Ubuntu make sure you've installed obfs4:
sudo apt-get install obfs4proxy
in obfs4 for Tor you need to include the other parts of the bridge line as
well
obfs4 [IP ADDRESS] [BRIDGE FINGERPRINT] cert=[certificate string]
iat-mode=0
so for example, you could use this line (it may become censored as this is
a public mailing list):
obfs4 192.36.27.17:44853 43F1FDB442C714D2D53C643668E5FB3206352381
cert=IFJGp2PGzB4yVd/XlWFvbuNZrYUMWwsY9YpC/DiSqcq7193F8a+4u6q4bPuEkzO3CbVfHQ
iat-mode=0
let the mailing list know if this doesn't work for you.
