Safe Tor browsing -- best practices

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----

I've written up a draft post of Firefox tweaks and best practices to
follow when using Tor for anonymity:

http://www.brainonfire.net/2001/10/21/using-tor-safely-browser-edition/

(It's marked as being written in 2001 so that it doesn't show up at the
front of my blog. Once I've gotten some feedback, I'll republish to the
front.)

I've left out a number of privacy tips that apply to browsing in
general, such as the SafeCache and SafeHistory extensions. They aren't
really relevant to Tor.

Let me know what you think! I'd like to get any suggestions people have.
