google sees many queries from a single IP, in this case, your exit node. It 
puts up the captcha to ask you to prove you are a human. Torbutton sees the 
captcha and can redirect to a search engine of your choice. By default, 
torbutton uses duckduckgo.

You can also tell torbutton to not redirect on google captcha.
