WWW: The Linux PenguinPlay Project has moved

The Linux PenguinPlay Project has moved!
                ========================================

First of all, I'd like to say a big "Thanks!" to the whole Linux
community.
Following my previous post on c.o.l.a to find a new server to host
PenguinPlay,
I received *dozens* of generous offers from everywhere around the world.
Thanks to all who made those offers, and I may not have replied to all
of us!

To be short, the Linux PenguinPlay Project (formerly known as GSDK) is a
new
effort to bring the Linux community a powerful set of tools and library
to
allow the easy creation of first class games on Linux, a bit like
DirectX for
Windows. We support open standards like GGI and OpenGL, while developing
our
own set of libraries for graphics, sound, input devices and networked
games.

PenguinPlay is now hosted on the SunSITE Denmark server
(sunsite.auc.dk). Here
is the new location for the project; please note that the
penguinplay.ml.org
domain is *no longer available* ! Don't send any further e-mail to any
address
under penguinplay.ml.org.

Home page: http://sunsite.auc.dk/penguinplay/

Mailing lists (managed with ezmlm) :

        penguinplay@sunsite.auc.dk (Main list)
        penguin-graphics@sunsite.auc.dk (Graphics Team)
        penguin-sound@sunsite.auc.dk (Sound Team)
        penguin-net@sunsite.auc.dk (Network engine Team)
        penguin-input@sunsite.auc.dk (Input devices Team)

New! Those mailing lists are now publicly available through local
newsgroups.
To access them, point your news reader on sunsite.auc.dk, and browse the
following groups:

        sunsite.linux.penguinplay (main list)
        sunsite.linux.penguinplay.graphics
        sunsite.linux.penguinplay.sound
        sunsite.linux.penguinplay.net
        sunsite.linux.penguinplay.input

Those newsgroups are a common way to archive the lists ;), and by the
way most
of the subscribers of the above lists were lost during the move. If you
find
yourself no longer subscribed to one of the list, then you'll have
either to
subscribe again (send an empty mail to xxx-subscribe@sunsite.auc.dk,
where xxx
is the name of the list) or use the above newsgroups.

Please DO NOT USE the old linux-gsdk lists at wustl.edu ! They are
obsoleted and I
have no way to remove them :(. Please update your links and bookmarks.

FTP server:

        ftp://sunsite.auc.dk/pub/os/linux/penguinplay/

CVS server:

There is a public CVS access set up. Set your CVSROOT to:
        :pserver:cvs@sunsite.auc.dk:/pack/anoncvs
The password is cvs for this account.

You can get read/write developer accounts by contacting me.
