Hello,
I made a new installer without any of the smpeg stuff in it.
http://www.madecollective.com/~rene/pygame-1.7.0.win32-py2.4.exe
SMPEG has proved too tough for me to get working(actually I did get it
working once, but then forgot how, after mikmod stopped working..).
I think the way forward is sdl_sound and pymedia for mp3/mpeg movies.
Both of those work better than SMPEG anyway.
Does anyone want a python2.3 installer?
ps. This is a special LD6 48 hour game dev comp eddition of pygame
windows installer. So many pygamers entering again, it's great.
Hopefully some of us will pick up some top spots again.
