Re: [pygame] Why do we do this?

I'm too started programming at a young age, and it is still my main
hobby. Unfortunately my day job (VB programmer) tends to suck the joy
out of programming, so when I get time for my own stuff, I get very
dis-illusioned and find it very hard to find inspiration.
Is this a common disease?
Indeed. Burnout is very common among unappreciated programmers, technicians, and geeks alike.

In fact, I quit my job becase I was getting crap pay for programming (and sysadmin and tech) and I'd rather work at target or 7-11 (comparable pay, more appreciation, less hassle/computer bs to deal with). Though I don't have another job yet, screw the pay issues, I just can't stand underappreciation. Then I'll be able to think about programming all day and code the stuff I want.
