Are there ANY pre-compiled windows python2.4 installs out there?
The requirements to just 'recompile' are rather heavy, and I'm surprised that
even the 1.62 (pre-1.7) is not available for 2.4 since 2.3 has just gone
unmaintained.

Feel sorry for me, sitting here C++ compilerless with windows (of course my
linux boxes don't have this problem).
