Re: [pygame] Strategies for platformers



This strategy basically makes the charactor always be 'falling', which
is handy because we don't have to detect when he walks off the end of a
platform.
Are there any other ways people have approached this problem?
Don't take this the wrong way, I don't intend this in an offensive way, but technically in daily life, you are always falling.

We call it "gravity" =]

So, indeed I think your current solution is very proper and worth using. =]
