[pygame] Fwd: 3d Engine for Python

Okay, this is not a question about Pygame, but it is about Python and
Graphics so I thought I ask this good group.
I stumbled across a very cool looking 3d Engine for Python called Soya
3d at http://oomadness.tuxfamily.org/en/soya/index.html. This is not a
3d engine with a Python API slapped on, but a 3d graphics engine written
specifically for Python. From reading the tutorials, it seems very cool
and easy to use.
Has anyone tried this out?
I haven't because it currently runs only under Linux and I'm running
Windows XP. But since its ingredients are all platform independent (C,
Python, and SDL) it probably could run under Windows. I just don't know
how to do though. (Never complied a line of C in my life).
Any one tried to get this engine to run under Windows? If not, can
anyone offer me some clues as to how I might get it going on my XP machine?
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob
