Re: [pygame] Pygame 1.8.1rc2, SVN revision 1522 documents and Windows Binaries not available

The Windows binaries at http://www3.telus.net/len_l/pygame/ have been updated to include a bug fix to pygame.transform (rev 1530). Consequently I am also releasing a Pygame 1.8.1rc3 binary for Python 2.6. The surfarray and sndarray modules have yet to be verified because, well, no numpy Windows installer is available for Python 2.6. The new md5sums are:

d4791a99fdcfd1acca082f715bcd4c38 *pygame-1.8.1b03.win32-py2.4.msi
dd23f3c2e5971ec6af33e0c2139acd85 *pygame-1.8.1b03.win32-py2.5.msi
f42c45cd5da17f792f43087d506b5cf1 *pygame-1.8.1b03.win32-py2.6.msi

Have fun,

Lenard

Hi everyone,

The latest documentation and Windows binaries for the Pygame 1.8.1
release are now available at http://www3.telus.net/len_l/pygame/ .
Please note that there is a know problem with the movie module on some
Windows computers. If no new bugs are found then these builds become the
official Windows binaries on the Pygame download page. So these are the
preferable binaries to the corresponding Windows binaries on the
automated SVN snapshot build page. Here are the md5 sums:
