Hello,
a new pygame release should be comming up soon.
The release plan will be similar to the last release.
howto_release_pygame.txt in cvs docs directory. I also uploaded it
here: http://rene.f0o.com/~rene/stuff/howto_release_pygame.txt
For the next couple of weeks, try to get any patches in. Then a
feature freeze will be called. Then a series of release candidate
releases will be made. Lots of testing of the release candidates to
make sure that it compiles everywhere, and that nothing has been
broken.
Next weekend I am going to be going through all of the doc comments on
the pygame website, and integrating as many of the comments as
possible into pygame.
I will also look at any reported bugs, or patches that are sent in.
As they are sent in.
A new SDL release is soon(in a few days). Also there are lots of bug
fixes, and a few new features in pygame cvs that would be nice for
everyone.
