pygame.mixer.quit() what is this line for? It may cause problems. Also are you initializing pygame? try this:

def movieu(self):
        mov_name = "video.mpg"
        pygame.init()
        screen = pygame.display.set_mode((320, 240))
        video = pygame.movie.Movie(mov_name)
        screen = pygame.display.set_mode(video.get_size())
        video.play()

        while video.get_busy():
            for event in pygame.event.get():
                if event.type == pygame.QUIT:
                    break
        pygame.quit() #uninitializes pygame modules.
        sys.exit() #you should usually call this after pygame.quit() so the program quits. Otherwise errors can occur :O
