I would recommend looking at pygris. It is a neat tetris game in about 600 lines of code. I don't know the author, but I like that version of tetris myself!

I'm learning pygame module these days but it did confused me cos it is a different way from what I learned before. I used to make mini games with another script language and anxious to create more with python, anyone could tell me what should I learn if I want to make a game like Terris with pygame ?
