Re: [pygame] Redesigning the pygame.org website

Hello all,

I'm new here, but I wanted to add that the current website is a bit of an embarrassment for the project IMO.  I'd be willing to help with getting it cleaned up.

In all seriousness, I would be at least willing to be a moderator of some sort to get the spam off the current site.  I don't know who controls that but I hereby volunteer.

And the efforts from before sound really great with the wiki and python based technologies they used.  Forgive me for asking but I believe the key question is who decided not to implement the previous efforts and why?  Or was it just unclear who had control of the change?

Presumably this would have to run from a Django/Python installation as far as the website is concerned? Or could other technologies be used?

Hi everyone. Does anyone know of people who want to redesign the Pygame.org website? It seems like getting a facelift could help it out a lot.
