Pynchon rump session at PET

Greetings,

I've noticed a number of people interested in or working on this project
are here at PET, so I'm going to propose that I give a rump session talk
on the project, and then we retire to somewhere quiet to work out some of
the remaining protocol questions. (In particular, I'm hoping to sit down
with Nick and Brian and go over the open questions, but anyone interested
is welcome.)

[Nick, Brian, if you have a conflict that would prevent you from meeting
to work on this Thursday, please speak up, and suggest an alternate time.]

The rump sessions run from 1600h to 1800h, and then we have the reception
until 2000h. I'm thinking that we'll want to have the work session after
the reception; if anyone reading this is interested in being more involved,
offering input into the development process, or simply learning more about
the project, please let me know, and I'll tell you where we're meeting.

[For those of you not at PET, I'll post a summary of what we've discussed
to the list in the next few days.]
