RE: [school-discuss] LTSP First Time
Well while I'm waiting on more info on net-boot (i'm googling too :p) ...
Games will probably be wanted ... I imagine that the teacher sees them as a
great way to get the kids to actaully enter the labs :o)
RAM will be up at about 2 / 3 gigs ... plenty I would think
And I'm looking at about 150 gigs of HD space ... that's alot for them!

You can remove the games from the default menu. If you do not want them
to play.
Also you can get faster X terminals (better supported video cards) and
that may solve the problem.
I would recommend the most RAM you can get. Gives better performance.
Also get 7200 or More RPM IDE Harddisks with large capacities
Large capacities because this is the first thing people run out of.
