Well if talking Sleepycat (app-embedded database), maybe it's
worth looking at SQLite and metakit -- small-footprint, zero-adm
databases for small tasks.

I think there's going to be a vacuum in proper specialists on
embedded technologies in 5 years, so it may be worth considering.
