[school-discuss] MACUL conference in March
The MACUL conference will be in Grand Rapids,Michigan, March 8-10, 2006.
MACUL stands for the Michigan Association of Computer Users in Learning.

Will anybody from the open source community be presenting during the
conference?
What a great opportunity. What a great place to set-up demos and hand out
free cds of open source software. I tried to contact Linux distributors in
the fall of 2005, to see if any were interested in setting up a display or
demonstration, but had no success.
I am willing to bet, there will be FEW representatives of the open source
community. That would be sad. If there are open source advocates in
Michigan, it would be great to see an organized effort starting TODAY to
prepare prepare presentations and demonstrations for MACUL 2007.
Educators need to see what is available.
