Thanks for the comments.

In order for us to be able to use version control, it has to be set up
locally on an intranet box (running Centos Linux).  So, I can't use
any third party web sites.  So, if anyone's got any recommendations
for guides to setting up Apache configuration files to work with web
interfaces/tools like gitweb, that would be very much appreciated.  I
thought Fossil looked like an interesting option, but couldn't find an
easy way to use the web interface with Apache.  Thanks again.
