i just posted the first in a series of classes on the solar system to 
http://www.opensourceschools.org - exclusive to schoolforge members :-)

the classes include lecture notes, lesson plans, a catalog of supporting web 
sites and software you can download.  labs are a cinch with this package.

it's all free.

a text is available from nasa if you like - ordering info. is included in the 
lecture notes.

your kids need this, and everyone will enjoy it.
