I like the term "appropriate technology". We sometimes have to be careful
not to overbuild. A laser beam _will_ cut down trees, but a chain saw
works just fine, thank you. (And it's easier to find chainsaw repair
guys...)
Designing an application is very much a matter of "taste" as well as
talent. For example MS apps just have no taste...but they're not
alone.<grin>
