Re: [school-discuss] Re: Where is the OpenZIS source code?

Thanks, Karsten.

I've found the source files on openzis.tigris.org I'm going to set it up on a Tomcat server, and see if we can start to test some SIF code against it (depending on what the ZIS code can do).

I believe open source projects like mine should start moving in this direction (even if there is more uptake in other parts of the world where SIF doesn't exist as a barrier to entry for school software.)

Hi,

Does anyone know where the OpenZIS source code is?

I've looked on openzis.tigris.org, but no files have been released.

Looks as if there's a domain openzis.org referenced, but no website to be found there. Checking WHOIS shows the domain itself isn't registered. Last update on the page you reference is Nov. 2003. Smells like dead project to me. Try pinging the contacts at tigris.org to find out what's going on.
