[school-discuss] Educational software for schools...

Has anyone tried out useful educational programs for schools, specially
for smaller kids? I have copies of FreEDUC, but not a recent copy of
linuxforkids.com

Am an Indian journalist with low-bandwidth possibilities.

If anyone is interested in this subject, please get in touch. My
five-year-old daughter has been teaching me FreEDUC, specially Gcompris
which I think is a superb program for tiny tots.

But in a world where so many resources exist, the problem is that we
really don't know which would be suitable for use in our schools (and
maybe colleges too). Any help would be appreciated. FN
