Oh, no need to fool with that process that I used ... that was to CREATE
the images.  You can use the images from Debian.  They have an
"Official-CDROM" ready to write.  

Point your web browser at:

ftp://ftp.debian.org/OfficialCD/1.3.1/

And have a look at the file named:

CD_Writer_Instructions.txt
