Help Program Status.

Just so you know what the current status of the help
program is:

1. I have received feedback for the design. I
   am updating the document and will post the newest
   copy when it is done.

2. The main programs have become more stable, and
   I will continue to push to make them semi-releasable
   (for testing and such)

3. A Contents/Index/Search program is under way for
   adding extra behaviour for the help system. It
   is a program which communicates with help to
   open usefull files.

4. As per an earlier email I have started to set up
   the help directory structure. If there are any
   people concerned with this please let me know
   so we can discuss it. Otherwise I will write
   up a more detailed design and post it.

5. I have started making a basic web page to describe
   the help system and report on progress. This should
   be done by the end of the weekend and posted.

6. I still need to write instructions and make
   scripts that will install the help system. To do
   this I need to know not only how to do this
   (anyone know a good front end to make? I'm lazy)
   but also what directories to install in. Perhaps
   I will write a tcl/tk instalation script. This
   will make things easier.

The next release (a useable one this time)
will be just after the holidays. I will not be in for
one to two weeks, but will be able to do some work on
getting everything ready.

If anyone sees anything being done that they would like
to help on/do, please post.
