If you're still interested in seeing how it works on a 486, I might be
able to do that soon. I have a ThinkPad 701 (486DX4/75, 12MB RAM, 720MB
HD) - probably a barebones platform for SEUL.

I'm attempting to install a new hard drive in it for the purpose of a
Linux installation, but hit a snag, so it will probably have to wait at
least a couple weeks.

On the up side, I *did* finally find an ethernet driver that sees the
card in my main computer!!! (tulip.o). Only problem is, the /dev/eth0
device still doesn't exist. I seem to recall a make device command, but
couldn't find it last night. Would someone be interested in briefing
me???

I'm also thinking of buying a co-worker's 486/100, 16MB RAM system for
another Linux box to add to my future home network.....

And I agree - the GIMP rocks! It amazes me every time I see it! This
is one HOT application - we need to promote it BIG TIME with the SEUL
release!
