Re: [Fwd: [seul-edu] [Fwd: Cheating and home schooling]]]

Hello, all

On this topic, I would actually really like to know

(1) if there is any information at all on whether people studying
and taking quizzes on-line at home try to cheat and

(2) whether anyone cares even if there are two people solving the same
quiz as long as the student learns something and

(3) whether the use of any form of randomization (i.e. personalized
tests) is a deterrant according to real data and

(4) whether people who are forced to do computerized quizzes do better
or worse than others...

If anyone has any data on any of this, I'd love to see some references
posted to the list, given that many of us are pondering on-line quiz
design etc.

PS Not knowing the concept of "home schooling", I am assuming this
means computerized home learning, given the list, no?
