[seul-edu] Want to present at LINUXWORLD NY/ 2002?
With the current Linux World Expo coming upon us in a few weeks, they are
starting the planning for the next show.
I need to get info for anyone wanting to attend and help ASAP, August 6th is
the primary cut-off date.
It has been noted that there was not much of a call for education related
conferences or presentations. I am not sure how to convince the IDG folks
to do otherwise, but if *lots* of fols will offer up a paper or
presentation, it may happen. If the costs are a hindrance, consider the
notion that *if* your presentation is selected, IDG has a policy of
assisting financially with the expenses.
Think about your favorite project, and see if you can at least hack out a
proposal.
LINUXWORLD NY/ 2002
Speaking opportunities are now available for LinuxWorld Conference & Expo in
New
York City, to be held January 29 - February 1, 2002. The Call for Papers are
posted in the "Conference Program" section of the LinuxWorld website; please
submit all proposals from there. Please take a few minutes to read through
the
each of the sections detailing out the Speaker Requirements and new
Conference
Guidelines. The deadline to submit is Friday, August 24, 2001.
