Re: [seul-edu] Standards and Requirements



While they are not mandatory nationwide standards, the National Council of
Teachers of Mathematics site www.nctm.org gives guidelines for math that
most states are trying to follow. I think there are probably similar sites
for various sciences and other disciplines. Those might be good to check
out. The Natl. Science Teachers' Assn. has a list of science standards at
http://www.nvc.vt.edu/nsta-ncate/november98.htm.
