Actually, it depends.  Redhat 6.2 / Slackware 7.1 leave a lot to be desired
from a security perspective, so unless they are behind a firewall (or being
used as a workstation, instead of a server), they are probably not the best
bet.

Mandrake 7.x seems to be much more secure, especially 7.1 and 7.2
