The specs dont specify which one it should be, the problem with a text/xml mime
set which is what some people recommend is this, older browsers will show
source code and text browsers like lynx will try to download it as an
application. they say for all browsers it should be text/html
but what it seems is the /> closing tags it hates, I know netscape dont really
like this either.
Now I am sure a lot of people say well just use HTML 4 Transitional but it
seems XHTML is the only way to be able to push to all platforms with the least
ammount of problems. Also XHTMl is supposed to be the best way to build web
applications and sites for the disabled.
I dont know I guess I will try a few more things.
