Greetings,

I'm scheduled to present at the following:
It pleases me to inform you that your proposal(s) for a presentation at
the Wisconsin Best Practices Conference (BPC) 2003 has been accepted.
The conference is scheduled for May 19, 2003, Alverno College.

This presentation will be on Open Source in the university classroom. I
figure to begin with a brief overview of open source, then applications. My
students presently use Open Office and various compiliers under Linux. In
addition, we use the LTSP package in one classroom. I'm sure between now and
mid April, when the paper needs to be put to bed, I shall hear of other
success stories. (Hint! Hint!)

On the same note, I've been asked to demonstrate our LTSP setup to a northern
Illinois school district. At least one school board member sees value in
open source.
