i am interested because all academics i have limited memory, thus I am
undertaking a php/myql based system that keeps track of citations, book
notes, etc. related to usually texts, but this type of thing can easily
be seen as relating to lecture notes, etc.  I am about 3/4 of the way
through of a uml description of the objects involved and would be happy
to share whatever i eventually develop with you and then transcribe the
uml to xml.
