RefDB is a reference database and bibliography tool for DocBook
SGML/XML documents. It allows users to share databases over a
network. It is lightweight and portable to basically all platforms
with a decent C compiler. And it's released under the GNU General
Public License.  This is an attempt to provide most of the
functionality of commercial packages like Reference Manager or
EndNote in a platform-independent tool, targeting DocBook rather
than word processors.
