The new licensing scheme backed by UCITA (in MD and VA) and the DMCA and the
actions that M$ is taking on software piracy will indeed figure quite
prominently into the picture. Cost of support and ownership are huge issues.
With commercial options ranging from Terminal Services to individual
licenses, the average Joe will have to look towards alternative methods of
production. We are only talking OS at this point. Wait until they want
apps!!

Willy Gates is the king of cha-ching! It's going to come from somewhere! I
am interested in seeing how XP will play with LILO. Wonder if they will use
the NT or 2000 boot model?

Anyway, back to the original topic, I intend to try Tux typing this weekend.
I'll have my wife test it. She actually types and has used similar
commercial type products. I use four fingers and two thumbs trying to ease
into it for the last 15-20 years.  ;-))
