Re: [seul-edu] Introduction and question



Thanks to all who responded to my management question.
Several of the tools mentioned, I have not used before
and need to explore more in depth.
I am aware of the differences in distributions and how
they put their config files in different places. I
would standardize on one distribution (most likely Red
Hat as that is what I am most familiar with) in order
to simplify the update process. I already support
Netware, Macs,  Windows and some Red Hat boxes. I
would not add many different flavors of Linux to the
mix. It is hard enough to keep up with the important
changes for the different OSes without adding subtle
variations.
The LTSP is an interesting idea. I am interested in
hearing more about people's experience with it.
