For 16MB the basic tvtwm, cvtwm, etc. Just don't bother with
GNOME or KDE.   Those are basically for 'drag-n-drop'.  Netscape, Gimp,
and most office applications (StarOffice,Applixware) should also run
without problems on a simple window manager.
